Bacterial culture waste

1. Decontaminate liquid culture with bleach. Dispose in the sink.

2. Plates and other solid waste should be put into an autoclave bag and autoclaved.

3. Agar is going to melt during autoclaving. Place the bag in a container to avoid contaminating the autoclave machine.

4. Tight the bag and poke a few holes on top.

5. Autoclave at the liquid cycle.

6. Let it cool in the container. Remove the waste after the agar waste has set.
