1. Freeze sample (tissue, solution, etc.) in dry ice/ethanol or -70 °C.

2. Turn on the lyophilization chamber to cool down to -20 to -40 °C.

3. Cool down the trap to -70 °C.

A poor man's lyophilization chamber.

4. Put in the sample, and turn on the vacuum.

5. Turn on the centrifugation if equipped.
