1. Using the squeeze-bottle, rinse the sonicator probe thoroughly with water.

2. Wear ear-protection from now on.

3. Turn on the power for the sonicator. Set power level and pulse time.

4. Fill a tube with water and sonicate under the same conditions as for the sample. Don't let the probe tip in contact with the tube. Press the Start button to start.

5. Dry the sonicator probe with tissue paper.

6. Sonicate the sample. Don't let the probe tip in contact with the tube. Press the Start button to start.

7. Put the sample on ice to cool down.

8. Repeat 7-8 until the desired result is obtained.

9. Turn off sonicator power. Take off the ear-protection.

10. Using the squeeze-bottle, rinse the sonicator probe thoroughly with water. Dry the sonicator probe with tissue paper.
