1. Deparaffinize the paraffin section and rehydrate in PBS.

2. Immerse the slides in a tray containing 100 mM Tris-HCl pH 10.

3. Bring to boil in microwave oven. Don't use too high a power level.

4. Boil for 10 minutes.

5. Remove the tray from microwave and let it cool down slowly over 20 minutes.

6. Wash the slides twice in PBS for 2 minutes each.
