1. Deparaffinize the paraffin section and rehydrate in PBS.

2. Immerse the slides in a tray containing 100 mM Tris-HCl pH 10.

3. Autoclave for 10 minutes using the wet cycle.

4. Remove the tray from microwave and let it cool down slowly over 20 minutes.

5. Wash the slides twice in PBS for 2 minutes each.
